Payments & Refunds

We want your shopping experience at booknbooks to be smooth and worry-free. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how we handle payments and refunds.

Accepted Payment Methods

UPI: Pay instantly using any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and more.

Debit & Credit Cards: We accept all major Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay cards. Transactions are secured with 3D Secure authentication.

Net Banking: Pay directly from your bank account. All major Indian banks are supported.

Cash on Delivery: Available on select orders within India. COD availability is shown at checkout based on your delivery pin code.

Payment Security

All transactions on booknbooks.in are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your card details on our servers. Your payment information is encrypted end-to-end and handled securely by our payment partners. In case of any suspicious activity on your account, please contact us immediately at singhalbookcompany@gmail.com.

Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation via email and SMS within a few minutes. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes of payment, please check your spam folder or contact our support team before placing the order again to avoid duplicate charges.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable on orders returned within 6 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging.

Items purchased during a sale or at a discounted price may not be eligible for a refund.

Personalised or customised items are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Orders placed from outside India are non-refundable.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be initiated to your original payment method within 2–3 business days. Please allow an additional 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Refund Timeline

UPI / Net Banking: 3–5 business days after refund initiation.

Debit / Credit Card: 5–7 business days after refund initiation.

Cash on Delivery: Refunds for COD orders are processed via bank transfer. Please share your bank details with our support team. Allow 5–7 business days.

Failed or Duplicate Payments

If your payment fails but the amount is debited from your account, it will be automatically reversed within 5–7 business days by your bank. If you are charged twice for the same order, please contact us immediately with your order ID and transaction reference. We will investigate and process the duplicate refund within 3 business days.

Non-Refundable Charges

Shipping charges paid at the time of placing the order are non-refundable in case of a return.

Any convenience fees or payment gateway charges are non-refundable.

COD handling charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.
